Anna takes it to the streets by herself.
I guess it's final. Amy decided she no longer wanted to share a blog with me and ventured out into the blogging world on her own.
I will admit, I was a little upset at first. I was given no warning to this change. I happened to log on to "my" blog today and noticed Amy was no longer associated with it. The two of us had a pretty great life here in the blogging world. Many responded well to our posts, and quite frankly I thought we were a pretty hilarious pair.
My first reaction was to kick Amy in the knees because I realized she provided most of the humor and stories. I then started sweating thinking about the pressure of having my own blog.
However, I have come to the realization that this is similar to our own lives. Amy just graduated college and will be leaving for grad school soon, and I am starting college in the fall. Its for the best.
Don't worry though.. I will blog. Posts with pictures, darling poems perhaps... I will blog.
So I don't turn this into a novel, I will end by saying:
Amy I will miss you.

2, 3, 4....
So Amy has started a new blog, a separate blog. It's nobody's fault that Amy has decided to leave this one, we still love each other and all of you...it was just time for a change. But think of it this way, you will get two sets of laughter! You can come here and read Anna's and laugh and then go over to Amy's and laugh even harder. Really, it's for the best, you'll see.

Much love,
the sisters

Good news, everyone. I bought the Queen Mary.
Hi, this is Amy. It's 2:30 in the morning and I'm wide awake, just buzzed. I'll let you in on a secret: around midnight I had a headache, probably from drinking a diet coke before bed time (great idea) so I took an Excedrin PM...or did I? No. I took a regular, highly caffeinated Excedrin--two in fact. So here I am.
Caffeine does horrible things to me, it puts weird thoughts into my head. For instance, the last couple of hours were spent sweating and flipping around in bed thinking about life, the first thought: what would my friends and I look like as muppets? I came to the conclusion that I would definitely be green and female.
I then thought about inventing a really large pen because the scale of a regular-sized pen is just too insulting.
After resolving the pen dilemma I considered getting on the treadmill but ruled that out because A. it's the middle of the night 2. I don't run, and D. I remembered there's an ongoing feud between me and Mr. Spider who lives by the treadmill and I am not in the mood.
So I pondered about my hands, they've changed over the years. I once had the hands of a prince.
I also thought about my spine, ribs and other bones...that grossed me out FAST.
Recalled the time I was in San Francisco on a high school trip and in the crotch of the jeans I was wearing I found, rolled up in a ball, my underwear from the day before.
Wondered what happened to Tang.
Also wondered what happened to the official kids fruit drink of the 90s: Squeeze-it. That's what led me to the computer and here's what happened: General Mills just decided to not make it anymore but to bring it back you can sign a petition here if you want to. I didn't.
Signing off, I bid you adieu.
-Amy

sketch that
One of our absolute favorite things to do is play a little game called 'sketch that'. It originated from Amy's good friend Katherine. The objective is to:
1. Draw a disney/animal/tv or movie character
2. Do the best you can
It's actually really really hard. Trying to transfer the image from your head to paper takes talent. Luckily I(Anna) am pretty good at the game... a least that's what everyone has been telling me.
Amy and I decided to battle each other in a sketch that marathon. Yep.. that's how cool we are. We drew Winnie the Pooh, Alf, Pinnochio, and Lady Elaine Fairchild. Below are some of the original images...

Amy's
This last one was drawn by our Brother-in-law Cortney. We think it was supposed to be Donald Duck and Piglet but they both ended up looking like pimps and it grossed us out. And why is Donald Duck in a towel? He sure did try.
